Who is behind Pets in the City?
Carole and Rob Ellis are well known 
to Auckland’s dog and cat owners, many of whom trusted them with their pets in their previous boarding kennels and cattery in Ramarama.
Carole and Rob’s expertise in breeding and showing their champion Old English Sheepdogs in the UK and New Zealand, coupled with their “Dog Listening” skills and their cat Louis’ guidance, make them the peace of mind solution to your pet care needs. Both Carole and Rob are members of The New Zealand Kennel Club and have held senior positions within The NZKC.
They are currently showing and having fun with their new Champion Old English Sheepdog “Royalty” (middle dog in photo) Rob is also sitting on the AsureQuality (MAF) panel which is advising on the new Code of Practice for The Boarding Kennel and Cattery Industry.
This is an important step forward for the NZ pet care industry and when implimented will improve standards and help provide peace of mind for New Zealand pet owners when leaving your darlings at a facility.
