Our dogboarding and daycare centre in Auckland provides our guests with many hours of play time all under the watchful eyes of trained caring staff. It’s important that dogs are stimulated and encouraged to work off that seemingly endless energy. So Pets In The City have installed the best USA purpose built doggie play equipment. But of course we don’t forget our more senior citizens who simply like a more gently paced day, so plenty of large comfy beds are provide in the Parks to take an afternoon snooze.
 But sometimes we just crash!
The key to happy guests in our dog boarding and daycare centre is the mix of the play group, age size and temperament are the key factors when selecting group members. Older guest are not mixed with full on puppies, that’s no fun for anyone.
Carole and Rob understand your dog lives in the home and even sleeps on your bed so we have provided cosy rooms, beautiful beds and designer duvets in our dog boarding areas.
Life is fun in Toy Town Fantasy Playland!
We have created ToyTown Fantasy Playland for our more vertically challenged guests, the toy breeds. This is where Bichons, Chihuahuas, Cavaliers and many more small breeds stay and play. Dog boarding becomes Dog Paradise at Pets in The City
Our Toy guests have special needs and require plenty of human attention and cuddles it’s so important they feel safe and are not overpowered. This is where Carole and Rob’s experience and Dog Listening skills make your pet’s stay happy and fun.
Over in our medium to large dog area we have the ultimate in hotel room convenience with adjoining rooms! So if you have more than one dog from the same family once they have eaten we can open up the two rooms into one huge space, then party, party, party!
Your pet’s safety is of paramount concern to us and we have made a decision that we will not compromise on. We will not room dogs together unless they are from the same family or its requested by the respective owners. There have been numerous incidents at traditional boarding kennels in the past by “doubling up” we believe this to be a bad and dangerous practice.
With luxury Vista and Executive Apartments, ToyTown Fantasy Play Land, LCD TVs, huge indoor famous named play parks like Times Square and Hyde Park, Victorian Antique Street lighting, imported USA doggie play equipment you have to see Pets In The City to believe it.
