2. At dog boarding kennels, are there people that sleep at the kennel over night to watch the dogs?

Yes the staff work a 24 hour shift to ensure the dogs and cats are all well cared for and having someone on call 24 hours a day means in the unlikely event that your pet gets ill he/she will always be cared for correctly and promptly.

3. How much is a good rate per night for a dog at boarding kennels?

In running a boarding kennel the overheads are considerable. We have staff on site 24 hours a day, huge food bills, large electrical bills (the machine runs all day with blankets, rugs, and towels), and many other expenses. The daily rate reflects these expenses and if you take into consideration the care your pet receives and the fact you can relax knowing your dog is safe then it is money well spent.

4. How long before boarding a dog do you need kennel cough injections.

5. How much time will your dog have in the exercise area and how much supervision will they have if they are with other dogs?

Your dog will have alot of exercise time every day and will only be in his or her quarters at night to sleep. All dogs are supervised when at play with other dogs by trained professional dog handlers. The dogs can be walked outside as well (additional fee)

6. Given the amount of room your dog has in their kennel and the amount of time in their exercise area will your dog need extra walks and is there an additional cost for this?

Your dog won’t need additional walks as the play rooms tend to wear the dogs out anyway however a lot of owners like to give their dogs an additional piece of exercise such as an external walk. There is an additional fee for this and it is used to give the dog some diversity.
