About our dog hotel
Traditional kennels keep dogs in outdoor runs with short exercise breaks. We flipped that model. At Pets In The City, boarding dogs sleep in clean, private indoor rooms and spend their days in our daycare play parks, matched with dogs of a similar size and play style. Rooms are cleaned every day. Trained staff check food, water, mood and toilet habits at every shift, and senior team members handle any medication — including insulin injections at no extra charge.
Benefits
- Indoor rooms, not outdoor runs — warm, clean and quiet at night
- Full daycare play included every day of the stay
- Medication given by senior staff, including insulin
- Daily photo updates so you can see your dog is happy
- Kind, force-free handling from a trained team
How a stay works
First stays start with a short application through our owner portal, where you upload your dog's up-to-date C5 vaccination record. We then invite your dog for a daycare assessment — about 90 minutes with a senior caregiver — so we can learn their play style and comfort level before any overnight stay. Once assessed, you can book any dates. Check-in is between 1pm and 5pm, and check-out is by 12pm. Bring your dog's normal food portioned into daily bags; a familiar blanket from home is welcome too.
Pricing guidance
Nightly rates are set by each of our centres individually, so you'll always find the current price on the location page for the centre you're booking — just pick your nearest centre below. Grooming, training and wellness add-ons can be added to any stay at booking, which many owners use so their dog comes home freshly groomed.

What customers say
The staff were really friendly, our dog had an awesome time. Photos were posted, and staff even rang to let us know how he was going. Wonderful experience.
Excellent service, and so accommodating – going out of their way to assist when difficulties arise. We've never had any concerns when we've dropped our Lexi off to stay over the last ten years.
Our 6 month old puppy had to stay for an extended period while we were away for family reasons. He had an amazing time, made lots of friends and even picked up some new behaviours during his stay!
